Following the success of last year’s competition, Eurofighter PR and Communications are proud to launch the 2012 edition of the popular Eurofighter Typhoon Amateur Photography Competition which will run from the 9th March until the 31st August 2012.
Eurofighter Typhoon is the star of the first episode of the new season of “Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei” the popular German television series. Produced by Action Concept and broadcast in Germany on channel RTL, the series has been successfully running for over 15 years and is shown in over 140 countries worldwide. The programme draws audiences from China to Mexico and Turkey to Czech Republic to name a few. In Germany, over five million viewers watch a single episode.
Air-to-air refuelling is one of the daily training activities undertaken by Eurofighter Typhoon pilots. In this picture, taken during one of those missions in January 2012, four Aeronautica Militare (Italian Air Force) Typhoons (three single seat and a twin seater), belonging to the 4° Stormo (Wing) based at Grosseto airbase, refuel from a KC-130J of the 46^ Brigata Aerea (Air Brigade) from Pisa.

The delivery of the 400th fuselage centre section for a Eurofighter further confirms Premium AEROTEC’s strong position in military aircraft construction. The fuselage centre section manufactured by Premium AEROTEC is the structural ‘core’ of Eurofighter Typhoon, the European multi-role combat aircraft.
Eurofighter Typhoon will take pride of place as one of the highlights of the daily flying display at LIMA 2011 as it debuts at the show. On Tuesday 6 December the world’s most advanced multi-role combat aircraft, flown by BAE Systems’ Typhoon Test Pilot, Nat Makepeace, will take to the skies for the first time over Langkawi, demonstrating its incredible agility and speed.
The Eurofighter Typhoon will be flying across the skies of Langkawi for the first time as a UK Royal Air Force aircraft participates in one of the most important global defence and security shows, LIMA 2011, which takes place in Langkawi, Malaysia, from 6-10 December.
