Eurofighter Gmbh was awarded contracts in June 2020 for the development, supply and integration of E-Scan radar into 126 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft across the German and Spanish fleets. This has represented the largest order to-date for the next generation electronically scanned array radar, CAPTOR-E. Finland and Switzerland are both running competitions for new combat aircraft. The next 12 months will be crucial as decision day looms.
